Every generation,
one room

KOUM is an intergenerational gathering for churches across the Northern Region of Malaysia. Young and old come together for two days of worship, teaching and prayer, with one call over all of it: arise.

  • Be Transformed.Meet God in worship, the Word and prayer.
  • Impact the Nations.Go out changed, and carry it further.

Five sessions over two days in the Banquet Hall at The Top, Komtar.

Friday 4 Dec

Opening night. Doors open around 6 pm.

We open the conference together in worship and the Word.

Saturday 5 Dec

A full day, ending with closing night.

A morning of prayer for the region and the nations.

Before you come

Entry is free for everyone. Here’s what to know.

It’s free

Register online through Ticket2U. There’s no deadline, so sign up whenever you’re ready. You can also register at the door.

Bring your family

Children sit in the main hall with their parents or guardians for every session. There’s no separate children’s programme.

Plan your meals

Meals aren’t provided. There are plenty of places to eat in and around Komtar during the Saturday breaks.

Your wristband is your entry

When you arrive, we’ll scan your Ticket2U QR code and give you a wristband. Keep it on: you’ll need it to enter the hall and to come back in after the lunch and dinner breaks.

Getting there

The Top, Komtar, Jalan Penang, George Town. Banquet Hall, Level 6.

  1. Come in through either entrance

    The main entrance is on Jalan Penang at the base of the KOMTAR Tower complex. The side entrance is by the “rainbow walk” sign near the KOMTAR Bus Terminal, next to Hotel Jen.

  2. Take the lift to Level 6

    Head inside and ride up to the Banquet Hall at The Top.

  3. Get your wristband

    Have your Ticket2U QR code ready at registration.

Step-free access

Take the lift from Pacific Supermarket in Komtar Tower up to The Top. There’s a wheelchair ramp at the main hall entrance.

Wheelchair-accessible parking is on Level 2 of The Top car park.

The on-site car park is cashless and fills up at peak times, so it’s worth knowing the nearby options too.

How much does it cost?

Nothing. KOUM is free to attend. Just register on Ticket2U, or at the door.

Is there a registration deadline?

No. Registration stays open, and walk-ins can register on-site. Registering online first makes check-in faster.

Who is KOUM for?

Everyone, across every generation. Come with your church, your family, or on your own.

Can I bring my children?

Yes. Children stay with their parents or guardians in the main hall during sessions.

Will food be provided?

No, meals aren’t provided. On Saturday there’s a lunch break from 1.00 to 2.30 pm and a dinner break from 5.00 to 7.00 pm, with plenty of food options around Komtar.

What if I lose my wristband?

The wristband is how you get into the hall, so keep it on for both days. If something goes wrong, go to the info booth near registration.

Is the venue wheelchair accessible?

Yes. Take the lift from Pacific Supermarket in Komtar Tower to The Top. There’s a ramp at the main hall entrance, and accessible parking on Level 2.
